Space Engineering were approached, by one of the UK’s leading wholesale companies, to supply and install refrigeration equipment for a cold store extension and new buffer freezer room.
For the chill store we provided a new multi compressor CO₂ pack, gas cooler, a new evaporator and 4no booster fans.
For the Freezer store (also running from the CO₂ pack) we provided a new evaporator.
An RDM system was installed with networking and Carel stepper valve controls
New control panels, entrapment alarms and leak detection were installed for all areas.
The existing store needed to remain operational during the project, so the installation was carried out in a live environment with minimal disruption.
